The Verge of Flight was a roller coaster at American Gardens in Orlando, Florida, USA. It opened in 2000 and closed for good in 2011. It's replacement was the Great American Scream Machine.

Verge of Flight opened with American Gardens in 2000, and was an orginal ride. It was located in the Corkscrew Drive section and had a ride rating of 5 out of 5.

ClosureEdit

It was announced by American Gardens in November 2011 that Verge of Flight would close for good due to waning popularity and roughness. It was replaced by the Great American Scream Machine on March 2, 2012.

TriviaEdit

  • The name Verge of Flight was a pun on "verge of tears".
  • American Gardens billed the ride as "the total flight experience".
  • Riders on Woodstock's Express could see restricted areas of the ride when it reached the drop. If you had a steady eye you could also see the areas from Flying Ace Aerial Chase.
